Day 2 No Caffeine. Day 36 Calorie Correction Course.

Last night, after my first day of no caffeine, I was so tired that I laid down at 6 p.m. and was out for the night! Yikes! This is day 2 and I'm awaiting the arrival of the awful headache. Since there is none yet, it could be that either I have so much cumulative caffeine that my body is still running on, or weaning to a quarter of a small mug eliminated the headache. Oh, that would be wonderful.
This is day 36 of my calorie correction course and I've been wayyyy over range for the past 4 days. But still not where I was before starting on this course. What really sabotages my efforts are two things; when I see a plateau (which my body is very fond of staying on), I mentally get discouraged. And then there's the problem of buying stuff at the store which I tell myself will be part of my lesson of portion control. Unfortunately, it doesn't work out that way. Best not to bring it home at all. Sad, but true. (smiling)
I already have my plan set about the pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. I'll be cutting it up and freezing it for a rainy day of small portions within daily calorie range.
