Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a fantastic morning or day! Yesterday I got an early birthday present from my wonderful partner (you'll all find out later, it's a surprise!) and I couldn't be happier!
Another reason to celebrate is that I am almost half way through my short term goal! Only 11 more pounds to go till I reach my short-term goal of 240 lbs! I am super excited. It does not seem like that great of an achievement for some, but for me, it is a huge success. They say it takes two weeks to break a habit, and I am happy to announce that my habits are now on healthy food instead of junk! Sure, I'll indulge in the occasional small bowl of potato chips or that one single square of brownie. But, I am only human, and sometimes you just have to suck it up and give in. It'll only kill you to have some if you go overboard and binge eat on junk food and put all your hard efforts into the toilet.
I have also found a new love for Eggs Benedict. Specifically the Avocado Eggs Benedict from a local restaurant called Elmers. Delicious! Especially good with a side of fresh fruit (had pineapple, banana, and grapes!). Definitely getting it again soon.
