Small Goals

This morning even though it was cold outside of the bed and below freezing outside I got up at 5:30 and walked my dogs 4 miles. My fitbit is registering close to 8k steps and I should have no trouble hitting 10k steps(maybe even 15k) by the end of the day. The dogs really love this and it is good for me too. Of course now they are sleeping, and I wish I could take a nap but have a lot to do. My health goals this week are to walk my dogs every morning (3-5 miles), drink 2 liters of water, and take a daily multivitamin. These are things I was doing often anyway, but it is nice to start making sure of it. I want to really build some great habits to make my health the number one priority.

I am preparing the house for Thanksgiving and a nice visit from my family. I will continue with my decluttering of the house today so that I can start deep cleaning on Tuesday and Wednesday. Things are in pretty good shape since I've been on a decluttering kick since I changed out my summer and winter wardrobes laast month, but I finally have the time to get into some of the often forgotten closets and storage areas.

    Decluttering is one of my favorite things to do. I do it often because I tend to hang onto things and it takes me a while to convince myself that I don't need it. Especially clothes, I will hang onto them because one of these days I'm going to fit into them. NOT!!!
