Naughty Day

I love my family but as I was thinking back of my choices the past two days. They are sabotaging my lifestyle changes. I know they are not trying to do it on purpose because they are saying how good it is that I am finally trying to lose weight (like I haven't tried before, longer story). Friday was my rest day from exercise. I was possibly considering doing still some light exercise but was really exhausted from the week. But then I was invited out to eat. I said yes because I hadn't seen the people in a while before of busy schedules. What I didn't know was we were going to was the one restaurant where the healthiest thing on the menu is plain white rice. But over all I think I did well because I tried to watch my portions and I stuck to my one dessert not a sample of all. But then I was invited to go to a football game. I was excited to spend the day with some of my favorite cousins. Before I really considered the food possibilities. So yesterday health wise was a disaster. Tailgating food is diet friendly, Nor is the premise of munching before the game and afterwards not including the meals on the road and possibly a snack during the game if you have little cousins. Plus because I left at 5 am and didn't get back until 9:40 pm I didn't get in any exercise either. I will have to work on a better tailgating plan before next football season.

    Bad days happen. But they mean nothing, have no effect whatsoever if you stick to your plan the next day. (Don't get on the scales for a couple of days though. Water retention will sure show which may be discouraging)
