Current weight is 174.9 kg that is 385.6 lbs
Week weight loss is 5.1 kg that is 11 lbs
That's the first time I loose double digit, at least since I've been ably to weigh myself.
I had low number before, 1 lbs, now big number, but still that's all a process and how fast it goes is none of my business. I eat like a healthy man, so I'll eventually be.
Next week I may gain, will I care then...we'll see:)

That's was ok, as usual. Ate more sweets then usual, but not breaking my overall limits.
I have 250 rule, that I shouldn't eat more then 250 kCal of sweets per day. Broke it twice.
New discovery - I like kiwi:) And I don't like mushrooms:) I'll keep looking for ones I like.

Strength training was fine, moved one to another day cause of dentist appointment.
I use 20 kg (44 lbs) dumbbells now, tomorrow I'll add 5 lbs more.
Some were curious, my training session lasts about 80 minutes.

On Thursday I've tried my new shoes, since it's cold and all, but after 10 minutes of walking they started to hurt and by time I got back hope I had two big wounds on my heels.
So, I stopped walking for couple of days.
But it's healing nicely and on Tuesday I'll get back on track, maybe even tomorrow...will see how it is tomorrow.
I've been thinking about a little break, just strength training.
So, ask and shell receive:)

    Glad you're making new friends, my friend, and emoticon . Know a bit about shoe wounds--my boyfriend (user iamadimad) is size 14, very hard to find in Canada

    Andre, they make gel pads for blisters. Maybe those would work for you until you get your new shoes broken in. emoticon

    Do you do any water exercise? I made that my alternative for when I have an injury that stops me from walking any distances. It has stood me in very good stead over the years.

    It's interesting to me how our tastes change. I grew up HATING beans. My parents grew up during the Depression, so we had beans ALOT and they LOVED them. All kinds.

Right after my surgery, I tried refried beans for breakfast one day and LOVED them. Now I LOVE all kinds of beans and they are almost a daily thing.

Go figure.

You are doing a great job on your activities! (I HATE the word 'exercise' emoticon ) It's an area I'm not so good at being consistent, but I keep trying.

    Great blog, Andre. Yes, it would be a good idea to do strength training for awhile. I hear that strength training burns calories faster and keeps the weight off for a longer term. It's generally harder than just plain walking, but it also helps tone the body better.

    Wow, 11 lbs in one week is amazing. Congrats but don't expect it to happen regularly. Count all your successes: increase in weights lifted, making your workouts, etc, etc.... the baby steps can lead to a successful journey!

    Wearing two pairs of thin socks help keep stiff new shoes from rubbing your heels. I used to Nordic ski, and that's how I controlled the problem of very narrow feet.

    Try wearing thicker socks. That may help with the shoes. Also you can buy pads for the back of the shoe that make the heel fit tighter. I have wide toes and narrow heels so I know about those blisters!

keep trying new foods, and sometimes it take more than one try....I love mushrroms cooked in soups and stews but not raw.....
