I have not had time to research the connection between carb cravings and sleep. But I have noticed that during times when I am sleep-deprived I am more likely to want to eat more carbs, especially at night.
Now, my definition of a carb-craving has completely changed. I consider it a carb-craving now if I feel like eating larger or more servings of veggies for carbs, even a small piece of fruit, 2 pieces of chocolate, or too many nuts. None of these are enough to knock me out of ketosis but they are noticable.
I may monitor this a little more to find out how often these things go together.
Does anyone else have this experience?
