LIFE IS FULL OF BEAUTY, FUN, DECISIONS AND BEAUTY

Saturday, November 23, 2013

I received a beautiful gift--the face of a female Buddha etched in glass which came with a stand and a hole for a candle--last week and I have been undecided as to how to show. I am sure it is right to have the candle in front but I also tried it in back which gives it a glow in the evening time. I like it both ways and so I have decided to have the candle in front during the day and in back at night? What do you think?

I hate housecleaning of any sort which is why sometimes things get 'lost'! I decided it was time to take everything out of one of the kitchen cabinets and found a few things I forgot I had--and, obviously, don't need so you know where they are going- and discovered this bottle of beer called "Lump of Coal"--don't remember where or how I got it, who gave it to me and why I still have it! I put it back in the cabinet!

Last year I went to The Home Depot and saw a large plant, with many blooms, taht I had never seen before and so I bought it. It is called a Siam Tulip and really produced a bunch of flowers but I thought after it stopped blooming that was it and was going to give it to Irene to plant in her garden is the back of the building but, for whatever reason, I kept it. A few months ago I took the plant apart, breaking up the bulbs, and re-potted it. Within a 3 week span there was a bud and last week it bloomed plus there is a very small bud literally hidden among the bottom leaves which I saw accidentally--can't wait to see that tiny bloom!

Busy week coming up--eye doctor on Monday---The Pantry--trying a new 'health' restaurant--Wednesday go to my primary for pre-op blood work--Thursday to the Isle Casino for their Thanksgiving Buffet--Friday to see Judi Dench in "Philomena" and then Monday, December 2, the cataract surgery-- always something.
