Leptin is a fat burning hormone, the master hormone according to Byron Richards, a Leptin expert. When you eat is just as important as what you eat according to Byron. This is most interesting and fascinating subject to me. While I'm waiting for Byron's book to arrive, I've watched the video and want to start incorporating the principals of the Leptin diet right away.
The 5 rules are:
1) Never eat after dinner. Allow 3 hrs before going to bed and at least 12 hrs before breakfast.
2) 3 Meals a day with 5-6 hours in between. Do not snack! Watch the video for explanations. It'll blow your mind with the wrong advice given by the 'experts' on snacking.
3) No large meal
4) Eat high protein breakfast.
5) Reduce carbohydrates.
The video is 10 minutes long, but if you've never heard of Leptin before, this is well worth it. It's not only what you eat, it's WHEN you eat. Enjoy:
