Workout: 10 roll-ups to start the day, followed by a couple of short videos on Blogilates (1 cardio and one pilates), then a few minutes spent doing some lower body exercise from the "Skinny Jeans" challenge.
I've decided that one of my favorite things in the world to have for breakfasts are pie/cake-themed oatmeal dishes. It's usually just oatmeal cooked in milk, with some fruit or veggie to give it the pie/cake taste (carrots for carrot cake, banana for banana bread, etc) and then a dash of vanilla and spices to make it tasty. So far I haven't needed to add any additional sugar (even the carrot cake, which wasn't super sweet but still good with just vanilla to taste). I definitely have a sweet tooth, but I can find ways that are actually healthy to satisfy those cravings within the context of a legit meal.
So excited, just got my first job interview scheduled! It's just a part time job, and not a well paying one at that, so I won't replace the job I lost last month. However, it'll help me stay busy and build my resume for a future position, plus depending on how flexible the scheduling is I might be able to hold onto it for supplemental income while working full time elsewhere. Plus, it's about something I'm passionate about: it's at a cat rescue facility! I shouldn't be talking about it like I've already gotten the job, because I haven't, but it's nice to finally see my work reaping some benefits in finding work.
