Well this week has been long and exhausting. I am in my last 5 weeks of college and I started a new job this week at which I am working 30 hours a week. I thank God for the job, I have been searching for over a year and I have finally found employment. I have had terrible eating habits this week, some days I eat way too much and some days like yesterday I eat nothing. I am finding it hard to balance everything I have going on however, I did loose 1 pound this week and that is better than nothing. If I continue on my track I will reach my goal in no time. I think in this upcoming week I am going to need to find a balance with everything and stick with it. If you have any advice it would be appreciated! Have a great weekend all.

    I FULLY UNDERSTAND THE BALANCING ACT! I am still adjusting to that...but I had to go through that not long ago because I got in a funk due to a knee injury as well as adjusting to my husband's school/work schedule.

    My suggestion: start with SMALL GOALS (i.e. "Baby Steps"). Give yourself at least one small goal to meet, and then keep building on that with more goals that are attainable. That's the best way to get back into a groove.

    Also, try not to have a self-critical attitude. When you hear the negative thoughts, fill it in with a positive. It'll also help you a lot. I find that the guiltiness makes it harder for me if I let it overtake my attitude...
