As usual there is much to do. I am still being thankful for my keys being found and not lost somewhere at the BJC Conference I attended. I am tired today after driving back and forth each day. Today is the final day and afterward its time to grocery shop and get my nails done. I am extremely aware of my hernia and it's more tender (no pain) so I am not sure I could have held off much longer having the surgery no matter what. The 9th will be here before I know it. Thinking positive thoughts and continuing my attitude of gratitude this November. Well I have to get going. Tomorrow is our family dinner and I have some groceries to buy and food to start cooking!
Day 22: I am thankful for my car and the ability to get to places beyond my ability to walk. I am certainly thankful that I can walk but that its for good health and not to get groceries, go to work, or access the many things I have to do. Living here a reliable vehicle is a real blessing and while it may sound superficial I am all about being as thankful for the small as the large things in life. Especially things we take for granted that have not always been available. So today I give thanks for a reliable vehicle that takes me all the many places I need to go including to family and Church family whom I worship with.
