Thank you all for your support and encouragement and Juliamoonchild, thanks for the slap upside the head, I should have read this before I went out, maybe I wouldn't have bought the ice cream..... emoticon
Went to Games Day at the church, and learned about the free university for seniors here, and my friend and I are going to check into a Cape Breton History 1920-to the present that starts in Jan. Her friend stopped in and he's a senior and is taking a fulll course load, hmmmmmm!!!

Went to a Library talk tonite sponsored by University Womens Club and got 2 invites to join them. They had community health Doctor talking about PUblic Health and how education, poverty, support, family, housing etc. all contribute to it. I gave them some, but certainly not enough, example of things I learned on the REz... the last comment being from a TA who told me how the families a little younger than him would sit and watch their children starve and never swallow their pride or sense of entitlement or whatever and cast a line to catch a fish and feed their kids..... I think a lot of this current situation has to do with Mindset and Marketing..... some interesting comments...

Got a CPR course from 8:30-4:30 tomorrow, so must call it a nite. Sometime tomorrow I expect to make cabbage roll casserole.. Today, I cooked 2 pkgs of ground pork and 2 pkgs of turkey tenders and froze them to put in my new freezer.... So, I will be able to freeze some cabbage roll casserole too... Maybe I should make a couple since the coleslaw mix was on sale for $1...
nite

You have been one busy gal and I commend you for all that you are doing. Truly!

Now, you are welcome for the slap up the side of the head .... although we both know it was just my way of giving ya a "pat on the back" ..... as you stood close to the edge of a steep cliff. emoticon

Anyway, good job on getting things prepared and frozen ahead of time. Being prepared for tomorrow is one of the best things we can do for ourselves and our program.

Lila, you're staying active and helping others and learning all the time. You're making me feel like I'm falling behind and inspiring me to catch up. I got on a website and found LOTS of things to make for the baby. I may be starting to ask you all sorts of knitting questions.
