A Better Day

Today was a better day. Breakfast was oatmeal with berries, maple syrup, and peanut butter and a piece of gingerbread loaf. It was my day off and I went to the mall with Mom and Grandma to buy some much needed winter clothes. We went to Starbucks, and I managed to avoid high calorie sugary drinks, and just ordered an Americano with soy milk. We ate lunch in the food court, but I was able to find a healthy option: Extreme Pita. I had a falafel pita, which is just a small whole wheat pita with veggies and falalfel and I had no sauce. I also had a kale, cabbage, and fruit smoothie. It was yummy and filling. Dinner was whole wheat macaroni and broccoli in peanut sauce, beets, and squash. I didn't exercise, but it's that wonderful time of month, and I'm not feeling so hot. I've been noticing the past few months that exhaustion (more than normal lol) is a new PMS symptom. I'm working 8am-1pm tomorrow, then 2-1030, so I've got all my meals prepped for tomorrow.
