Effects of MS medications on patients

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Here is a video documentation on the ineffectiveness of MS medications. It's mind-blowing as the costs can range from $35,000 to $55,000 a year. What blew me away is they had proof, PROOF by the English government that people got worse, not improved on the medications.

Don't hate me for the results, I am only the bearer of the news. Only 10% of the people in England are on medications due to the ineffectiveness. Here where we are flooded with advertising at home, in the Dr.s office, on TV 55-77% of Americans take the Rx.

I am thankful I only did Rx. for a year. Yes, I am very thankful. I am thankful that I eat a healthy diet. I am thankful for the wisdom of researchers who are not afraid to speak out.

I really wish they would focus more on nutrition when training health care professionals. I am a RN and we only had 1 semester on nutrition and guess what they used, the pyramid.(INSERT EYE ROLL) I am seriously thinking of getting a dietician's license. I dont think I can honestly tell people to take all these meds now that I know what being plant based can do for us!

I applaud you for taking so much responsibility for your own care. It is difficult when you are not well and your thoughts are taken up with the day to day management of your condition to put in the time to do the research and find the way that works for you. WE are all being misled by big pharma and it is time to take our power back and take action to learn to care for ourselves, when possible. Congratulations and best wishes for continued success with your health.

God gave us food not drugs. You are doing what you know your body needs in order to thrive.

Research is great when they can find something that will help people, but they also need to come up with drugs that have NO SIDE EFFECTS! Sometime the side effects are worse than the disease. For example...Lipitor that now has a class action lawsuit against them because of it's side effects. I always wondered why my doctor suddenly changed my medication and now I KNOW WHY!

Thank you for all the information you research and share with us. It's nice to hear the truth.

    WOW.
I watched this documentary called The Beautiful Truth that also addressed how harmful these chemical treatments are, and the virtues and benefits of letting food be our medicine.

My husband took the drugs. We spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and all I'm left with is the debt...but his Dr knew better than I did.

Drug companies don't have cures, they have customers! I read that somewhere and really think too many are governed by the drug company influences.

I have a very good friend that did injections of Interferon for a few years, and then he decided to just change his whole lifestyle. He went on a very strict MS diet with exercise and meditation. He has lived now 10 years much healthier and without any progression of his symptoms. I know it doesn't work for everyone, but sometimes it does work and maybe should be tried a bit more often? Hey, I worked in health care for years and part of helping people is that they believe in the help they are getting.
Thanks for sharing.

welcome to reality.....although humans think they are the chosen overseers of planet earth, god's chosen ones, and god's prize creation,it is my belief that although humans speak of christianity, along with other worldly religious beliefs,...superiority, compassion, caring, humanity, concern for the less fortunate,or the sick and elderly,....it is apparent to me that they just like to hear their own voices,....their pretence of moralistic concerns, and true concerns,.. and compassion for the good of others above all other concerns is just an excuse to put themselves above and beyond all other life on this planet, and falsely place themselves on a pedestal, claiming all of the above,but,..... by the actual costs of these medications, and treatments for this type ailment, or a plethora of other costly concoctions claiming to help alive the symptoms of this devastating disease, and others,is simply bull...today's world is just a commercial venture developed to gain monetary stature, and capital gain.....no one really cares, besides, if they claimed to have a cure, or actually did have a cure to this and other deadly ailments, where would the foundations for the study for there cures get their funding from ,and where would the wealthy go to donate there money, in order to receive a tax reduction for said donations......it will never happen....even if a cure was found...humans are the worst thing going on planet earth, and a bunch of liars, all out to get rich.....another aspect is to look at the side effects of the medications, they are scary for the most part, and deadly too , most of them, and the side effects seem to be worse than the actual diseases they claim to help suppress.......filthy humans , i am not proud to say that i am one of them.....just saying, my opinion, my observations....no offence to anyone, just my personal opinion.....in conclusion of my statements, if one looks back in history,.... it seems the world ,and it's occupants were becoming vile , and unruly...it was, or seems to be the point where the rulers of society saw this, and used religion as a tool to frighten for the most part, an ignorant, and very uneducated population of humans as a way to control the masses of belligerent, and vile humans, steering them into believing that there was an afterlife, and a supreme creator to answer to for their evil ways..then converted it's self into one of the biggest, and richest control groups known to man, and still continues to this day....you may at this point want to review everything you were taught from your youth, and examine the possibility that what i just told you , just may have some truth to it...form your own opinion, but at least think about what i have just told you, and then decide......realist john...thanks for reading...there is no reason to become offended by this,it is just an opinion and has no study set forth to prove what i have mentioned is true,so anyone with deep religious beliefs, please do not become offended....you have your opinion, and are allowed to exercise it, and the same goes for me.....thanks again ...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ that's all folks !!!

Whatever can be treat naturally . . . go for it! So often if we ate the right foods for what our bodies are fighting, we'd be better off than taking meds!

My kudos to you for pursuing the natural ways to help you live with your MS and hypertension.

I am (THANKFUL) that the medical establishment considered me unworthy to spend the dollars on to treat me with such medications (due to my being, as they put it, "a non-functioning member of society on disability"). At the time they told me such a thing it really, REALLY upset me. Now that I have learned the disastrous side-effects of such drugs, I am ever so thankful that I never got on them!!!

AND, after disastrous side-effects from other medications, I am now choosing to stay off ALL medications if at all possible. The only thing I take any more is my natural thyroid meds, natural compounded hormones, and when I can't see any other way my asthma inhaler.

Several years ago my NP finally convinced me (after a year of talking to me about it) to stop my blood pressure medication. As he told me, "With it you probably won't make it past 60 years old as you have been told, due to the negative effects of it, but without it you can probably make it to 70 years old if you keep your salt low. And, so I went off of it and my BP is not the worse for it, and I do have much more energy than I had on the BP med (which isn't saying that much being I have heart failure and MS... LOL).

Doctors are having conniptions about my refusing drugs like statins etc (although statins almost killed me in 2000 due to rhamdomyolitis... but what they hey, doctors don't care about that... they just want to push their drugs...)

Well, I'll get off that rant now.
