Holy..... INSANE WORKOUT!!

Yesterday was the first day of the new session of my Group Personal Training class. I knew one woman couldn't make it. But, the other two people had come on Monday apparently and he told them that class would be back on schedule Wednesday. No show from those two! Hopefully they will come next time, because I dont think the class can go without at LEAST 4.

Anyway, guess what the result of all this was....
My GROUP personal training turned into... PERSONAL training.

ACK!

He's a cross fit guy, so we really did a legit CF workout!

Started out with interval running: 1 minute sprint (7.5), 1 minute run (5.5), 1 minute walk, (3-3.5), 3 sets.

We worked on deadlifts since I'm more starting at that and to do it we could use a light weight and not have to worry about changing them for the next person.
Those felt good to me! I think I got up to 14 lbs added, plus the bar, who knows what that means.

Then was the main circuit:
10 squat thrusters, 2 10 lbs weights

10 snatches on each arm, 15 lbs (this is hard to get the handle on how to do!! )

10 box jumps

Four rounds.

Afterward I made sure to ask for some good back stretching.

Conclusions: I was so freaking used up. It's really intense to just have someone watching only you work out. I was struggling for so much of it, just in terms of catching my breath. It was a real challenge.
I am clumsy and I was think more about my hands than my feet for one of my practice jumps and I fell on my shins. Ouchie, insta bruises!! We lowered the box height soon after so it was very doable.

It was a big challenge and afterward I was moving pretty darn slow. I basically used up ALL my energy.
I do feel pretty proud!

Today my back muscles, shoulders, butt, hams, and inner thighs are the things that are sore.


Haha, its kind of funny after my last blog about NSV's saying that I was happy cause everything wasn't SUCH a struggle and I didn't get as sore. JIXED IT, I guess! :)

Hopefully yesterday wasn't TOO much. It was pretty gung-ho. I am glad that it was the Wednesday class so the next one isn't until Monday.

    .... Hmmmmm? Maybe you should invest in some personal training sessions??/??? SOunds like it was just what the doctor ordered! WOO HOO!

    I really, really wish I could do cross-fit and that I had someone to do it with! It sounds like such a fantastic workout!
