High Blood Pressure

Where to begin, I was told on Monday that I have hypertension and put on meds. I had blood work done back in May everything came back normal. For the past month or so I have not been feeling like myself (headaches, tired all the time, and sometimes nausea) it really got bad last week. So I went in to see my Dr. my BP was 172/98 and yes I have come to realize that being over weight plays a big part and I need to change that . Yes I have been making changes to my diet like stopped drinking soda, cut back on my sweets. Started to cook my own meals instead of the process crap. Also learning to read the labels. But no changes in the way I felt. So the reason why I am writing this is because you really need to listen to your body. It does have a lot to say. And now the wellness Journey begins emoticon

    You are so right in saying that we should listen to our body - it does tell us through our emotions and energy levels as to how beneficial a food item is or not!! Good luck on your journey... I too just recently started (seriously)
