So I've decided to establish a daily blogging streak where I leave an update of where I am and how I'm feeling. I commit to post on this blog every single day, even if it's just to say what I've been eating and how I've been exercising. Lets see how long I can maintain this without missing a day! My initial goal will be simple: just 7 days. After that, we might as well make a new goal and keep going!
(For days where I'm away from the computer, I'll just have to take some notes on paper and post it when I get back)
So, today has gotten off to a good start. It's around 9am and I'm almost done drinking my first liter of water of the day. Just made myself a bowl of carrot cake oatmeal (oats, milk, carrots, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and some walnuts). I was tempted to add some sort of sweetener, but it is wonderful the way it is. Leftovers packed in the fridge for tomorrow! Also, I was able to bring out my old 28 day bootcamp DVD and do a short cardio segment from that (12 minutes) and then find a full body pilates workout on Blogilates (28 minutes). So far a good start to they day! I've already walked more steps by 9am than I did all day yesterday.
My one concern is that I'm able to get tons of healthy cooking and exercise in now when I don't have a job, but I'm worried that once I do find work (and I really do want to find work!) that it'll become exponentially more difficult to work out and cook good food like I like to. I know there are enough hours in the day, but will just take more diligence than it takes now to get it all done in a more limited amount of time.
