Yesterday I went out to do some shopping around lunch time. I wasn't hungry when I left home but got really hungry during errands. As I was driving around town, I kept seeing fast food restaurants and you know what, none of them looked good to me! I kept thinking, "do I want to put that food in my body?" That was a huge mental change for me!!! I did stop at a restaurant but one where they make the food fresh. I chose a gyro sandwich and added lettuce and got some zucchini on the side. It was more calories than I wanted to eat at that meal but still stayed within my range for the day. More importantly, I didn't cave to the fast food pull! Just had to share.
