A cold night at the fire

Jo, the tower is still there, starting to lean, the ground wires are breaking as the tree grow.

My little Beaver friend, he kept swimming by me like he wanted his picture taken.

Jim & Me

Every so often we let Panda look around, she loves this

Our first morning of snow Nov 6th

Grey Jay

All the comforts of home

One hot day out hunting before the snow.

Leaving the bush/woods

I have so many pictures, I would love to share but need to go start packing to get ready to travel home. Nine weeks in the far northern woods and I am ready to move on.

These photo's remind me of when I lived in Thunder Bay, Red Lake and Chapleau, in the 1970's, we finally moved to The Soo for a few years, and now I'm back in S.W. Ontario. We climbed one of those fire towers on The Sleeping Giant, huge island in the bay at Thunder Bay. Very windy and scary. Your camping pics. bring back many memories. Where were you, on this trip? emoticon

Great pictures Mary! Looks like you had some good times, even if there were no moose or deer to be found.

Panda looks like she was having fun too!

It will be good to have you home again - you will have to come over for some Christmas goodies!!
