Overcoming an injury or illness is NOT easy! Old school says "no pain, no gain". Old school is dangerously wrong! It's been a long time coming, but as long as my ankle and my lungs can behave, I'm back into running! It's been a very long time. I tried the old school system and that became a major set-back. I switched to learning the new style, rest and recovery. The biggest obstacle there is learning patience! So, if you are hurt or ill, I know how easy it is to become discouraged or to be tempted with trying to do too much too soon. Be patient! The right time will come - as long as you don't push too hard and set yourself back further. Hang in there, we can do it!
