Late again, I did have a Marathon cooking spree this afternoon.

It is a good thing I did, we will be getting cold an d some wind in the night. I like to have plenty of food prepared in the Fridge and I always have the camp stove ready to just reheat foods as we need them.

Worse case scenario we can put the gas fridge on in the little motor home since it does have a generator that we start often in the winter.

Today it was 63 degrees DH and I walked but he had a heavy coat on and so we only walked almost 3 miles it was a nice walk. Wet leaves underfoot always makes me nervous . Some days they are as slippy as ice, I think it is time for my walking poles.

DH and I drove to Waterville to look for some clothes for 15 year old Grandson who is 6'5" alas there were none to be found so I will take a look in LL Bean for a nice pair. There is a BIG DOGS store down in Freeport too so we may find some there.

We still do not know if they will be coming. Our Grandson has an MRI on his knee after a fall at school. It was being done today so I hope it will be getting his results tomorrow.

Time for bed. Short Blog . Pat in Maine.

We have a generator and camping stoves for when we have no power. Our power is much more dependable since we have our new substation.

Our weather has been very erratic also. Warmed up for the week-end, but then rained and had tornadoes around. Now it is getting colder again.

We are getting a lot of wind right now and some flickering lights. I just pray that we don't lose power since I have work to get done today. It has our sheepdog hiding in the bathroom. He is afraid of flickering lights, candles, flashlights, aluminum foil (I think because of the light reflecting off it) he is just not very brave when it comes to that. Other than that he thinks he is a tough guy, barking to let me know someone is walking by or a leaf fell from the tree, maybe a squirrel in the yard.

Sounds like you had a busy day as usual!! Hope you can find your grandson's clothes. He is a tall young man!!

Hope you have another enjoyable day today!!

Oh ye, the problems of fitting a growing tall boy. Our son stopped at 6' 7". He has always been slim, that makes it more difficult to find clothes that fit. Hope the knee is OK.

Wow, your GS is tall for his age. I hope you
find something for him. Sounds like it is getting
cold. It cooled off here after the storm and it is
so nice not to be feeling hot and sticky. Glad you
liked my pictures. I'd still love to see your pictures
when you get a chance. emoticon
