Last week I started logging my calories again. It was quite eye opening. I just ate normally for the first few days, and it quickly became obvious that thought I was eating good foods I was eating waaaaaaaaaaaay too much. 100 calories here, 75 calories there, 120 calories over there...it really adds up fast!
This week is dedicated to getting back under control. When I lost the weight the first time, I ate between 1400 and 1600 calories a day. I looked at what I ate last week and made a decision to cut things down. Today, I only took 3 snacks: A banana, a fruit cup, and a protein bar. I came home with the fruit cup still in my bag. And, b/c of that, I was able to have some jello pudding for dessert, instead of the bowl of icecream I normally have.
The result? 1575 today! YAY!!!!
I'm happy with these changes and I feel I can keep them up. :)
