Is being on several teams a good thing or not?

Monday, November 18, 2013

I recently joined several teams. So much new information about clean eating, whole foods, raw foods, and foods I have never heard of in my life. Learning so much. Making new friends. Hopefully keeping the old. I learned as a Girl Scout one is silver and the others gold. emoticon
The only two cons I can think of is that there is little time to be too active in any one group. The second con is it takes allot of time to check in and catch up.
I think I will keep doing what I'm doing for now. I am learning so much and enjoying time with such encouraging Spark Friends.
It's true Spark Friends are precious just like silver & gold.

I used to belong to several other teams, too. If they are giving you what you need to make the progress you want, it is probably worth the extra effort. I finally decided to stick with just a couple teams and dropped the others. As you said, it takes a lot of work and sometimes there just isn't much feedback and/or participation on the team for it to be worthwhile for me. You'll find the right mix, I'm sure.

I joined several teams when I first joined and recently left several because they weren't active or offering me what I needed or wanted.

I joined quite a few teams. Some of them have very little action so they don't take much time. Of the others I'm selective in how much time I spend on them.

I also like having several teams for different interests but wouldn't want to have too many, it's too much computer time and less exercice time!

I am on several groups too. I find that there are so many interesting groups on here that it is hard to choose.

I am on 5 teams. I like it. it is a challenge to post nearly everday, read the newletters, do the start page, and keep up with the blogs and catorgies on these groups.

There is another non Spark group, I have been on for 12 years. They are disappointed I'm not around so much. Actually it is because of scedule and being here so much. I have to figure it out. emoticon

one advantage to being on many teams of your interest is to attract Spark friends you have things in common with. Your blogs are listed on that team's page and you will benefit from their opinions. At the same time, you can read their blogs if you want to get to know some of those members. Try to pick the blogs you read by the title that interests you.

I love my teams, even though that are not active.
