Foul curses upon you, TOM!

Well, so much for that exercising today thing. I've spent the day on the couch with a hot water bottle on my belly. The cramps have been miserable. If TOM were a person, I'd punch him in the face.

But the day hasn't been a loss! I've stuck to food plans all day, veggies and everything. I didn't cook, so we had Subway for dinner. I would have preferred the chicken and veggies I was planning to cook, but being pretty much unable to stand, I did the best I could with what I had to work with. Otherwise I've had some lo cal soup, a pb & J, some grapes and cottage cheese and a whole wheat bagel. I'm pretty proud of myself for not caving and having all kinds of crap food since I couldn't cook.

Now I'm hoping mightily that I'm able to sleep tonight. I have to get up early in the morning for my doctor's appointment, and it will be a rough morning if I don't get some sleep. My body is notoriously uncooperative about sleeping when I really need to sleep. And it will be made harder by the cramping, and by being anxious about seeing the doctor. So... blah.

But on that note, I'm gonna curl up with the hot water bottle and my magazine and hope I get sleepy soon. Hope everyone had a good Monday!

nothing on this planet could induce me to go back to that time..

Glad you had your veggies though.. I am making chefs salad minus the boiled egg for dinner. I love salad!!
Cannot wait to hear how your new swimsuit feels and works in the water though!

    I'm so proud of you! Yesterday was a complete bust for me after about 6 am (I made the gym...whoopee). And I ended up eating pasta for dinner. And bread. So bad.

Hope you got some decent sleep and that the doc was good to you. Keep up the good work!

    Way to go on keeping to the food plan. Exercise makes me feel good, but changing what I eat and the amounts I eat is what takes the weight off.

    Ahhh I remember TOM although not fondly!! I used to be in the same boat, horrific cramps AND horrible PMS. It is a wonder I am still married. What can I say? I am married to a saint. The weird thing about it was that I could rationalize in my mind that I was being irrational but could just not stop myself. So glad those days are long gone. I have to say that once I had my kids the PMS did abate quite a bit so that was a good thing for my hubby!! Poor man!!! TOM did make him suffer some months more than others.
