Psalms 146: 1 Praise the Lord.[a]
Praise the Lord, my soul.
2 I will praise the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3 Do not put your trust in princes,
in human beings, who cannot save. N.I.V.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. N.I.V.
Colossians 2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. N.I.V.
Psalms 69:30 I will praise Godís name in song
and glorify him with thanksgiving. N.I.V.
Ephesians 5:19 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. N.I.V.
The fruit of praise to our Lord is peace in the heart and joy in the soul as we draw close to HIM. I love to think of the story of Martha and Many. Martha in the kitchen fixing things for Jesus but Mary was at His feet getting directions for her day from the boss and the one who loves her more than words can say. John 3:15-21 and Luke 10:37-41. Have a great week. HUGS! Jenny
