They handily defeated the Chiefs but we get them at Arrowhead in 2 weeks which may yield a different result, we'll see. Both teams are 9-1. The Seahawks are 10-1 but they are on their bye week finally this coming Sunday. New Orleans squeezed by Frisco lol.

On NaNoWriMo I am at 30K words and about where I want to be at this stage with 2 weeks to go. It means I have at least 20K to go but its doable certainly. This last week was a get it going in the right direction, you can push hard and get it right. I'm good and the story and characters took a totally different turn than was expected but they will be fine and nothing strange has happened yet, which may or may not be good but I'm pleased with my progress. I can likely be nearing 50K toward next weekend and that would be just peachy for me since Thanksgiving week I won't have time to write in huge chunks like I can now so I am capitalizing while I can. I'm very confident I'll get at least 50K verified words so I'll win on my first try at NaNoWriMo.

This morning I listened to 3 or 4 segments of Spark Radio. One segment was Coach Nicole saying she broke her foot and has had to adapt her exercise completely because her foot hasn't healed so she has to stay off the foot. She was walking with a boot beforehand so she could exercise a little better but she is totally off her foot so she is limited to upper body mostly. She was able to hire a Personal Trainer for a session so she could figure out what she could do and it was quite helpful for her, to regain some spirit back because it depressed her a little to not be able to exercise at the level she is used to. A part that stood out was positive self talk versus being negative with yourself, don't focus on the one thing you did wrong when the rest of your day went right, you ate well, exercised, had your water etc. Changing the negative to positive!
Another segment had to do with less being more. Lilly said children during Halloween were more satisfied with getting a candy bar when they were out trick or treating than if they received some bubble gum with the candy bar. Its a mental thing apparently. So it is true less being more for most kids?

A lot of life is your perception and how you react to things though. A negative person will have a less interesting and happy life than a positive person. I think I learned that pretty early in life and in my 30's I wouldn't say I became positive Polly by any means but I chilled out and relaxed more, reduced the stress, got rid of some people who annoyed or pulled my strings in life. I still struggle with negative thoughts. I think about things in the negative before turning it around to be positive. That is an improvement though from never seeing positive but its an area I constantly need to work at so I don't wallow. When you wallow then you never see the positive and stay depressed, negative and you are Debbie Downer. I could never be a Pollyanna though. Perkiness annoys me big time. (Katie Couric) I need a cigarette and coffee with her lol. I've never smoked relax.

I've completed my housework for the week, I do need to shred though and that will take a few hours. I don't enjoy the task so I let it go until it needs to be accomplished. I have a few chores for this week but nothing major enough that it won't get done.

Exercise and water is priority one this week~

You are doing amazingly well. I think that you did a wise thing in clearing out that oppressive energy from your life and focussing on what worked for you and with you. emoticon

    Absolutely and I have learnt that you do not have to do an hour all in one go, instead for me it works better when I do short intervals.

    I didn't know that about Coach Nicolle. Wow, that is an event for her, isn't it? I wish her a speedy recovery.

As to negative/positive? I have a totally different viewpoint. But I think you know this already.

    Exercise is priority one with me this week also. And I will reluctantly say, Yea Broncs. You know I'm not a football fan but I live in Western Washington (south of Seattle), and my sister and her partner live in Boulder. He is a sports fanatic. Okay, enough said.
