Going the wrong way!!!!

This morning I was totally gutted to see that i had gained instead of losing. Not a lot, but enough to put me over the next pound mark. I,m sat here trying to dissect what could i have done to do this....Well, the couple of slices of pizza after a few wine,s while out with friend,s and also I think my portion sizes are a little on the large side. I do weigh everything as I,m going along and sometime,s look at my plate and think "There,s a lot on there" but I struggle to get my calories in someday,s. We do have an active social life, (Expats in Greece), and I do eat healthily for the most part, plenty of veg and hardly ever have processed foods, so I think it,s back to the drawing board. I walk 5 day,s a week and do at least 2-3 miles so maybe i need to step up the exercise more. Let,s see what next week bring,s...I will not give up !!!! emoticon

    Do you log your food?

    In the past I have found it easy to "forget" some of the extra tastes, nibbles, and treats I've consumed. Then I wail that "I can't lose weight!"

    Now that I am logging everything religiously my weight is dropping steadily. It's really made the difference! Yes it's a pain and takes time, but it keeps me conscious of how often I really am "treating" myself. It was more than I thought, for sure. I also had to give up alcohol completely to make the scale move consistently. I didn't want to, but it's just what I have to do right now. I don't think it will be forever, for now, it's what I have to do to get where I want to go!
