So, I talked to my husband and we decided to work together to lose some weight. I seem to be stuck. The first goal this week for the two of us, no more snacking after dinner. We've both gotten into the habit of late night snacks. Why? Because it's the only time, after the kids are asleep, to actually be able to sit and enjoy our snacks without little fingers taking them, chewing them, handing the chewed piece back .. you get the picture. Problem is, it's also the worse time to eat, just before bed. Neither one of us is a big snacker during the day. We both eat sensible breakfast/lunch/dinners .. but once the kids hit the sack, out come the devil dogs, potato chips and ice cream. It's terrible, I know. Which is why we decided this is our first goal. So, for the first week we can do this.
BTW it really kind of sucks. LOL. First night, haven't given in to the urge, but I'll be damned if the urge isn't really strong tonight. Mint Chocolate Chip Light Ice Cream is beckoning from my freezer ... luckily we are out of sprinkles or I'd really be in trouble.
If I can make it through tonight, then I can make it any night. Good evening everyone.
