I've sort of been having an up and down week. Huge problems on the nutrition front..sigh! So to turn that around this week, I've been researching some great healthy recipes.
Here's one for a coffee banana smoothie I found on pinterest that I am going to try tomorrow:
Coffee Banana Smoothie -
Night before: Slice 1 banana and freeze in a ziplock Brew strong coffee and freeze in an ice cube tray In the morning: Combine banana, 6 coffee cubes, 1 cup low fat milk/almond milk (more or less depending on preference), 1 Tbsp cocoa powder and 1 Tbsp flax seed. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
I'm such a coffee nut so I'm looking forward to trying this.
What has been working for me this week is breaking my workout into smaller chunks. It's easier to do 20 minutes in the morning and 25 minutes in the evening than going for the whole workout at once. I'm rediscovering zumba on youtube - there are so many great workouts out there!
