A Long Road Ahead

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Well so far I have lost 16.5 pounds and I am very happy about that. Since I have been eating better and exercising I have more energy and just feel better in general. But I have one nagging thought that is always on my mind and that is how far I still have to go. My goal weight is 150 pounds which means I still have 89.5 pounds to go. This seems like such a daunting task. I hope I can have it in me to go the distance.

I personally focus on a few pounds at a time. If I focus on the 120 lbs I prob wouldn't keep focused. Hang in there my friend, your doing a great job.

emoticon Just try not to look at the long run. Take one day (sometimes moment) at a time, and the days and successes will build on top of each other.

first off congrats on the weight loss and the hard work that went with it. as for going the distance....reaching goal isn't the end of the road. in fact its just the beginning of incorporating all that you've learned....for life. hence the term...'healthy lifestyle' and is pretty much the determining factor whether one starts their journey all over again or not...speaking from personal experience no hang tough!

I know how you feel, I get overwhelmed when I think of how far I have to go, also. But we can totally do it. And if you ever doubt it can be done, take a look at some of the success stories floating around here. Many have done it before, and we can do it too!

Good luck!
