Splat I hit the ground and rolled flat on back!

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Yes I did, but I am ok. Wow this could have been so much worse if that other 102 lbs I have lost had landed on top of me. On the other I might not have been rushing if I was 102 lbs heavier. I would have been slowly struggling for the door, I still remember. So I would pick the fall if that is the result of being healthier :). Yes, I took tylonol and I think I will be ok. Today we purchased the elliptical and it beat my butt after oh... 5 min. my quads were burning. I alternated between it and the bike to get my steps in. I put fit bit on my shoe and it reads the bike for the most part. It misses steps and I have to work a little more for them but that's ok. 10,000 steps today. I am happy about the elliptical especially since I will be able to use it too!

Day 16: So thankful God provides a way to pick yourself up after you fall both spiritually and physically. I am thankful to have been able to get back up after hitting the sidewalk today and rolling to end up flat on my back. I skinned up my left knee and I am sure I will need a little chiropractic adjustment come Monday but hey it could have been so much worse! My same age friends know "I've fallen and I can't get up is not funny any more at out age!". Today I am thankful to get up. It led me to think about how we fall spiritually and can turn to God as the first step of picking yourself back up. Confess your sins and repent, then change, do it better, don't make the same mistake. Thank you Jesus for the ability to turn to you in times of need.
