A bit of a pain this one! It fell on a Friday - our eat in the living room night while watching our shows. It is the only night I watch TV and eat at the same time. Except snacks and this is dangerous... One of the last challenges was to 'turn off the lights' after supper clean up - close the kitchen. I did that and enjoyed it. I am trying to make that a habit. It cuts down on the night munching.
As it turned out it was OK. Hubby had school work to catch up on so the TV was off anyway so I just set the table and supper happened without a hitch. Then I watched shows we don't normally watch together.
Lunch - I normally do my spark coach program at lunch so eat at the same time. I forgot my black berry today so focused on what I ate. that worked because I had home canned salmon on Ryvita crackers and avocado. It was so yummy I really did want to focus and enjoy it.
Breakfast - I pack a breakfast on Fridays so I can eat after my fitness class. I usually prepare the night before - raw oats/tritical (granola if I have it made) with fruit, yogurt and almond milk. Then drive somewhere that has a nice view, sit in my car and enjoy breakfast with a view, have a coffee and mentally prepare for my day.
So all in all this was a good challenge for me. Even though I do it as a regular habit, it was good to take a mindful approach to it. I think I will make a habit of eating lunch then sparking after. It felt good to let the mind relax.
