    Excellent article! I learned some important new things today.

I have always realized that after eating brown rice or oatmeal I didn't feel well. Even as a young child I realized this. About a year ago I started testing my blood sugar after some of these meals and was shocked to see how radically even brown rice or good 'ol rolled oats raised my blood sugar. It was the blood sugar roller-coaster that made me feel so awful.

    Saw this a couple weeks back and I love his message that having Type 2 for most people becomes a choice, not an inevitability.
