It's A Lose Win Situation

This blog is to rally up my morale. This is the second week my weight has not budged on the scale. I am exercising, but could do better. I am eating right. I decided not to get discouraged, though. I am seemingly going into another plateau. I am looking at my success another way. I pulled out the old measuring tape and took measurements. It has been 6 weeks since I took measurements. Boy did I get a nice surprise. I have lost a total of 15.5 inches in six weeks. Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am still hoping the scales will start moving downward by next week. I am really happy with my new measurements. It gives me an extra incentive to work harder and not go down the negative trail. Woo Whoo!!!!!!! It's a lose win situation. I haven't lost in pounds as much as I would like, but I have won in losing inches.

My Lost In Inches:

Upper Chest Area 1.00"
Bust 2.25"
Waist 2.00"
Hips 0.50" The last place to go. LOL (Hip Ratio went from .85 to .83)
Thigh Left 1.00"
Thigh Right 1.00"
Calf Left 1.00"
Calf Right 0.50"
Upper Arm Right 2.00"
Upper Arm Left 1.00"
Forearm Left 2.00"
Forearm Right 1.25"
Neck 0.00"

Total 15.50"

I still have a long way to go. I need to keep my attitude in a positive light to do it.

  emoticon emoticon I am having the same issue. I bet your looking good tough. I just want to throw the scale out the door. I'm been stressing over the weigh in afraid that I'm going to hurt our team. We just got to keep getting doing what we're doing-getting stronger, faster, healthier, and wiser. Hang in there beautiful friend.

that scale is just plain EVIL!

the trainer at one of the exercise classes I'm taking ONLY goes by the tape measure. She knows that the scale isn't the only (or even the BEST) way to see results.

you are doing GREAT.

    I stepped on the scale and saw that I had GAINED weight. But I also noticed that I am thinner. After all, the goal is to be slimmer and more fit! So you are having a HUGE success by losing inches emoticon

    I'm sorry about your plateau - they can be frustrating - but not as frustrating as watching the scale go up! emoticon You really are a winner with all those inches gone! emoticon You've got a great attitude and deserve to feel terrific. I'm sure the scale will catch up sooner or later.
