...then try to change that thing, and if you can't, then change yourself...
This is the new principle I adopted recently in my life. I made a huge change in my life, something that I thought I would have never been able to make. I used to live by the principle, If you are unhappy try to be happy by changing yourself. But for a long I had changed myself to be happy with the old state, and finally there came a point that I couldn't change myself any longer and had to change that thing. It brought some disappointment, some excitement, some sadness and some joy to my life. Now I am in a much better place in my life, where I live with this new principle. If I don't like something I am not afraid to make an extra step and change it. It brought so much freedom to my life. It helped me to overcome my food issues, it boosted my creativity and my confidence, it just set me free in ways that I have never imagined.
Coming to food issues... It is almost 2 months that I am free from binge eating and other eating problems. I learned to eat when I am hungry and stop when I am full. I stopped restricting foods, calling them good or bad and counting calories in my head constantly. Well it does not mean I have become perfect skinny eater, but it definitely helped me to overcome the urge to binge all the time. And exercise just helped further. Now at least I have my morning skinny cappucino and croissant, then dont want to eat for hours and when I exercise I give it my all so in the long run I still continue to lose weight. I will put my recent photo, where I am not skinny, but strong and healthy, and feel confident and sexy.
I am excited to start a new week now, as I have not been able to exercise for a week and have missed it like crazy. So today is Number 1 day of my fitness streak and looking forward to be in the gym again tonight! As you can see one of the most important things that I learned to do, is not to wait for a monday or the beginning of the month to start a streak! But just to go for it, when it feels right!
Have a good one, Sparkers!
PS: yes I did get the jacket and just for 5pounds! Love second hand shops.
