One Step at a Time

Well, I think this counts as progress for the week. I did more of my exercises than I did last week (and even a couple of unplanned ones), and I lost .8 pounds. Not exactly the sloughing off of dead weight that I was hoping for, but I think the loss accurately reflects the amount of work I put in this week.
I am playing with my daughter a great deal more. I've taken large blocks of time to play and interact with her. We read and have tummy time and go for walks. Just today we got a new ExerSaucer for her that she really loves. Now she has a perfect viewpoint to watch Mommy do her exercises from.
I like the stretches that I've been doing in particular. It feels good to move my muscles and flex them. As a matter of fact, since I've started doing more exercising and stretching, I find that I have to really work to find a comfortable position when I try to fall asleep. I think that the soreness I'm feeling is a good thing, and as each day goes by, I feel a little less sore. That's good, too!
