Not much going on...

Friday, November 15, 2013

I spent the day resting today. It's just chemo fatigue and I know it will pass. I've got one more chemo infusion next Wednesday and then I get a three week break before the next chemo starts. I'm starting to really look forward to the break. It will be interesting to see how much my energy levels rise over that period.

This Saturday night, we plan on going to our first real ballroom dance. I'm looking forward to going to that too. It will give us a chance to practice our new dance moves in public. emoticon
I'll rest all day tomorrow if I need to, just to be able to go.

I'm two left feet where dancing is concerned but I understand it is both good exercise and very enjoyable, so I hope you had a great time, the pair of you.

And that 3 week break definitely sounds like something to look forward to!

I've always wanted to learn ballroom dancing. I hope you get enough rest so that you will not feel fatigued while dancing. Don't feel bad if you have to rest more than you would like. You have a lot going on and your body is trying to adjust the best it can. Hope you and your hubby have a great time Sat. night debuting your dance moves! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am glad that you are resting up for your ballroom dancing debut. I am jealous because I tried to get my hubby to take ballroom dancing lessons and he didn't want to have any part of it. This is the man who took Arthur Murray dance school lessons as a kid. Maybe that's why!

Have a great time and I can't wait to hear all about it!

What fun! Will you dance in high heels and those special dance costumes? (smiling) How in the world do they do that?

I am glad you are resting, I have learned the hard way in the past about overdoing it while dealing with chemo fatigue. Knowing that it will pass does help me to have a more positive attitude about dealing with it; I use those times to indulge in some extra TV viewing and doing lots of reading. I hope your next infusion goes well and that the break gives your blood counts time to recover and some energy. emoticon
