It is the stairs!!

Friday, November 15, 2013

My new place is a two story townhouse and I am using the second upstairs bedroom as my computer room and exercise room. I do not own a television as I watch "my shows" online causing me to be going up and down all day, mostly to cook or get water or to let the dogs out.

Growing up we have always been told "Don't run up the stairs!", well I run up and down the stairs, except when carrying my one cup of coffee, all day long! Warning alert, make sure dogs are already ahead as they have a tendency to trip still!

I am very, very, very happy with the new place! Still working on storing stuff, but there isn't any rush!

I have always preferred cooking on a gas stove till now. New place has a glass topped electric stove and it is on par with cooking on a gas stove, new stove is very easy to clean too!

I am down a pound, it is the stairs, and I am going to restart my strength training soon as left shoulder is better, it is improving slowly. So today I will work on lower body and tomorrow will be upper if the shoulder can take it. I weighed in yesterday for my weight to be logged for this start over, but tomorrow is the real weigh in day.

I started some batch cooking yesterday and today I will be continuing by making a cabbage/chicken stew, idea has been simmering in my mind for days now! This is for my work week lunches.

Best thing about the new place is that it is so close to work (3 minute drive), wait also because it is in town! I forgot how much I love town! I have trees, I have fall, I am so close to stores! I hit two yesterday (got a free turkey at one) and all within an hour, first store was big shopping to stock pantry.

Dogs are happy and learning new tricks! All is looking good!

emoticon and have a grand day!!

You have had a whirlwind, crazy year. I don't know how you can handle moving so much. I hate it.

I hope the new home works out. I'd be totally freaked if people tried breaking into my home.
