Attitude of Gratitude

Friday, November 15, 2013

I practice this regularly but this November have been posting it daily. It really strengths you sense of well being to write them down. I have found November so far to be very positive and the writing and focusing on gratitude to aide me in preparing for the upcoming surgery. Today I plan to call the surgeons office and arrange the abdominoplasty with the hernia repair. My husband and I decided this past week. I am writing it for the first time today like writing the attitudes of gratitude's, it makes it more real and helps prepare me. Giving thanks for the jobs and resources that even make this a possible choice. Have been prayerfully approaching this and praying now for the process. For the surgeons to have kingdom knowledge and submit themselves unto God that he may work though them as well as their assistants, nurses, hospital and those responsible for my care. Thank you Jesus that I can turn to you and KNOW you are present in all things. Today I ask your presence in this process guiding and insuring your will be done.

Day 15: I am thankful for Days off even when I have to go into the office. It's so nice to know you can do things at the pace you want even when it includes doing job things or home errands. Although some days the home errands are real work. I especially like days off when I can do what I want like sew, read a book, run/walk, get dressed or wear my p.J.'s all day. I really would like to become re acquainted with my sewing machine. I truly am thankful for my job and the work I have but today I give thanks for days off :)

Days off to do the "taking care of me" things ROCK. Something as simple as staying in my PJs all day can be relaxing and rejuvenating! Good for you for looking for the positives in your daily life - too often we let them slip by without acknowledging them, and instead focus on things that didn't go as smoothly as we'd like. There IS something to be thankful for in every day!
