Too cute! I can cook but choose not to most of the time for the holidays. Our community has a dinner for Thanksgiving and Christmas put on for the holidays so we attend that. I just take a pie for my contribution! (This year I have already bought mine and it is in the freezer and will be thawed on Thanksgiving-yummy cookie and cream!)

I am almost always a dessert person. I make great cookies and squares to my detriment.

I am providing the Thanksgiving Dinner this year because my daughter (via marriage) is coming to town with her family. They live in CA and we are in MO, and they've never been for a visit. I hope it goes better than the cartoon!!! I'm sure it will, thanks for the smile this morning. :)

No--never ........... (funny--they don't come to MY house any more for the occasion) ............ emoticon ............. cute pic

OMG, this brings back memories. I volunteered at a Renaissance Faire one year and took home a turkey leg from a food vendor to eat for dinner. I thought it looked a little pink, but I ate it anyway. By the middle of the night I was puking my guts out, but I got up anyway and drove back to the fair (some distance away) feeling dizzy and definitely dangerous on the road. When I got to the site, I laid down on a cot in the medical tent where I was volunteering, and fortunately the feeling passed before people started showing up needing care. I found out the leader of our group also ate one of those legs and got just as sick. Never again.
