Be in the moment.

Thursday, November 14, 2013

Well the start to another day is a good one. Yesterday and day before, busy at post office. Expected the day after the holiday. Those 11 hour days are long. I probably will get shot for saying this but I enjoy this time of year at the post office. Its real active and people are happy to see you, looking for packages for presents for family or from grandma. I'm in Michigan and can't wait for snow. Another idea I'm not popular for. Being a mail carrier this season is fun for me.

Living out in the country the snow cleans things up for walking and spending time outdoors. When it rainy and cold the mud is no fun. Snow makes a welcome highlight. Gods way of making things clean and pretty. If you live where there is snow take the time to enjoy it. I love looking at it in the trees and up close. Each flake is just like us, individual. Sunny or cloudy I enjoy the quiet me time outside in God's canvas.

I love it too, I have been in So. Ca for many years now, but I go home in the winter as often as possible, I so miss the seasons, but my DH is not a cold weather man, so, I guess I am not either. but enjoy

We live in a rural area and I love that I can walk into my post office any time of the year and there is never a line to mail a package. I suggest those who get caught in long lines during the holidays take a drive to the country and mail your packages there.

I hate winter, snow, ice , sleet shoveling, scraping, higher than the national debt gas bills, freezing all of the time. You can have my share of winter. I'll appreciate the sands of St. Thomas again,, no shoveling or danger...
We have six months o fit where I live, sometimes longer,, after 55 years of enduring winter here, I will let you have my snow, I am generous that way!LOL! emoticon

Snow is fine, but after 5 months of it, it gets old...

I'm fine on snow and rain, it's when I'm driving on a sheet of ice that I get a little apprehensive.

You have a great attitude! I will let you have the snow! I do agree that there is nothing like a new snowfall to bring out the sense of wonder. emoticon
