14. True or false: I like the way I look. Elaborate.

True... most of the time. I had such a disconnect between reality and how I perceived myself when I was at my heaviest. It didn't really sink in how heavy I was until I had to look at pictures of myself standing next to my niece. That woke me up, but there was still a certain amount if denial. So, I guess it makes a weird sort of sense that now I have trouble thinking of myself as someone at a healthy weight. I don't like to look at myself in mirrors, but when I catch a glimpse it always seems a nice surprise. I am more concerned about how strong, fit and healthy I am than how I appear to others. Overall though I am satisfied with my appearance, despite the comments I have been getting that I look too skinny.

Went to court this evening for the traffic ticket. No fine, but the court surcharge has gone up to 93 dollars. The last time I got a ticket (20 years ago) the surcharge was $20. I guess this state doesn't need to raise taxes because they have raised the cost of everything else!

After court I took mom to the grocery store to pick up a few things. She didn't quite have enough cash, and that store doesn't take credit cards, so I put it on my debit card. Turned into an expensive evening. She does a lot for me though, so I can't really complain.
