Medifast Day 126 -- Made It

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

I survived the last day of training today even though the AC was broken and it was close to 80 degrees in the room. That was not pleasant at all. I went home and wanted a glass of wine but I resisted. It's over.

My weigh in is Saturday morning. That will be the last weigh in for my weight loss phase. Pretty exciting stuff. The 30 Day Shred is due to be delivered tomorrow so I will start it then. I'm hoping that between the 6 week transition and the DVD workouts that another 5 lbs will melt off fairly soon. I was watching the last episode of the Biggest Loser and I can't believe they considered that cheating. What a rip off.

In other news, my in laws have cancelled their trip to Paris so we are having Thanksgiving dinner with them. I'm not anxious about it because I will be eating normal food that day. I'm so tired of explaining that I can't eat anything not on plan. I will be buying the celebratory champagne that I was planning for Christmas. emoticon

I'm glad to be going back to my office tomorrow. emoticon

emoticon I could never workout in 80 degrees...

I do not know my thanksgiving plans this year. I am thinking it will be with my boyfriends family, but I have not heard anything definitive about it. Otherwise, I might just sit at home as if it was just any other normal day.
I did have plans of family coming from Alabama, but those plans have been cancelled. No more turkey spiraled with stuffing and prosciutto in the plans.

As you start working out, and strengthening your muscles, you will be building muscle mass and thus the weight might not go down. It could go up or remain constant.

WooHoo! I'm glad that's over for you!

I am also planning on eating normal food on Thanksgiving, because hello...yummy pumpkin pie. I can not resist! Plus my mom's cooking is pretty awesome.

I'm glad you'll be able to eat normally. Just be careful with adding food back into your diet. You don't want to shock it or anything.

Have a good one, and good luck with the last weigh in!

Good job! Hopefully you enjoy 30DS. I made it through level 1 and level 2. This week I was due to start level 3 but I've been too busy. I hope after Thanksgiving to restart it again and do it all. I like it because it's a short workout and doesn't get boring.

Hopefully Thanksgiving with the in-law's goes well. I'm sure it'll be much easier now that you're eating regular food.

An important part of transitioning is to lose the scale as your primary driver and switch to goals that are more motivating. Start trying some new activities (and I don't mean exercise DVDs) and see if some thing sparks an interest. It's a lot of self discovery, but you gotta try something to build new passions.
