Great - got back from vacation with no pound gained and lost a bit the next week. Yay for me! So then I'm at my daughter's house and eat a couple of leftover halloween candies - Reese's peanut butter cups. Ymm. Babysitting a few days later and eat a few more, then scrounge her refrigerator and find some leftover pudding. Delicious! Then she brings me a macaroon from the restaurant they were at - so I ate it on the way home. Now I'm totally lost. The next day I go grocery shopping and chocolate pumpkins are on sale for 10 cents each. I bought ten and they lasted two days. A few days later I was back at the market to buy stuff for family Sunday dinner. Well, my kids' families rarely eat dessert, but I decided I had to buy a half gallon of ice cream anyway. Then, of course I forgot to serve it BECAUSE WE DON'T EAT DESSERT AT SUNDAY DINNERS. So I've been eating away on that! All that in one week - I also exercised less, because who wants to exercise when you're loaded up on sugar? Today I'm back on track. I realized that it was the old sugar addiction rearing its head. I went to the gym and came home and had steamed vegetables and a chicken breast and I've set a challenge to have no sugary food at all for one week. I know I can do that.
