Dear Family: Update!

Well, since my last blog post I have gone home twice. And both times I didn't gain any weight. The secret to keeping the weight off and still be able to enjoy time with my family is to cook! That's right, I have to cook. Everything that I put in my mouth I have to cook. And really it works out great for everyone because no one else in my family enjoys cooking. So it's a win win for me. I do enjoy cooking. Another thing that has helped me while at my parents is the fact that they live on a hill, no a mountain. All I have to do is walk down and back up their drive way once and I and winded. Last weekend I tried to cheat and have my dog pull me up the hill but she had a different idea.

Anyway, I guess my point to this post is that I am responsible for my own weight loss. There is always something, some choice I can do to make my life healthier no matter what situation I am in.
