That is how I use to feel about water before I knew the facts:

WATER, bland, unattractive, no smell, no taste, bleck ! Water?!

I. Why water?

A. Our bodies are made up of 98% water. (C)

B. How Much Water Should We Drink?
1. drink water before,
2. during, and
3. after a meal to aid digestion and speed weight loss from the water.

II. Drink cold water to speed your metabolism and it's reported that an 8 ounce glass of water will burn 25 calories if it's cold! emoticon

III. Myth: You will retain fluids and bloat up if you drink water! !!!WRONG!! emoticon

YOU MAY RETAIN FLUID IF YOU DRINK CAFFIENE. So if you drink caffeine, emoticon emoticon A DIUREXTUC, PLEASE, drink more water. *Diuretics include coffee, tea, soda and alcohol. emoticon emoticon emoticon

A. cleans our palate
B. our kidneys
C. and therefore our blood
D. it helps us to digest our food properly
E. it washes away toxins that are caused by burning calories
F. flushes out the junk from our body as we diet

VI. Most importantly, if we drink enough of it, we will hit BREAKTHROUGH which means nothing will satisfy our thirst like WATER! emoticon

VII. Water will make our skin glow once we hit the breakthrough! Normally, that takes about 48 hours of drinking 64 ounces of water in each 24 hour period. emoticon

VIII. I have been told if you are overweight, and in doubt, drink more water! emoticon

IX. Oh and that is another reason to drink Water: MAKES US FILL FULLER. emoticon emoticon

A. Dehydration:
B. Dehydration reduces our blood volume;
1. Less blood volume causes reduces the supply of oxygen to your muscles; emoticon
2. A loss of oxygen in our muscles will cause us to experience a loss of energy. emoticon

A. water helps us to keep muscle tone by helping our muscles to contract, and emoticon emoticon
B. water lubricates our joints. Proper hydration can help reduce muscle and joint soreness when exercising. emoticon

XII. A healthy weight loss diet includes
A. fiber emoticon
B. fiber without water may cause constipation instead of elimination

There is talk in the weight loss community about how water raises energy levels.
Too technical for me, but I think if you digestive track is working, then it goes to say you will have more energy.

    I enjoy water, especially when it is nice and cold.
It is always good to know the purpose behind something. When one gets to know the benefits, then the substance is not so negative in the view.
Funny how what we dread becomes highly valuable when facing a great thirst, or dealing with a physical symptom that could be benefited if we just drank more water.

    The funny thing about water is that when you force yourself to drink it, you start to realize that you've been thirsty all this time!! Good article.

    I too have been drinking water for a long time, all day everyday. I used to drink sweet tea and coffee the same way, but now water is the only thing that satisfies. I drink at least 72 oz a day and sometimes more.

    I LOVE WATER - I've been converted! Drinking water all day long and even through the night is my new normal. If I don't drink lots of water dehydration starts to kick in and usually the first sign for me is I suddenly feel very tired. I then scoff a few large glasses of water quickly and wait for the miracle to occur and it does - energy levels restored. I actually said to my family recently that if they would just one thing to aid in weightloss it would be to drink minimum 1.5 litres of pure water a day.
