Sometimes when I least expect my introvert comes out to play. Today is that day. I am struggling a tad with some things, so need to get past them. On a positive note, I finally surpassed 8000 steps today. That was my next fitness goal. Yea. I must admit that I am feeling it, but just muscle pain. I also was up a pound this week. I guess this is how I am going to lose. It is fine though. I really feel at peace with it now, Mainly because I know if I continue to do what I am doing seven days a week, I will be healthier and fit. So I am going for victory, not the small defeats.

    Good for you! Gosh and I thought I was doing something getting 4500 steps on a cross trainer yesterday. You'll kill that 3 mile turkey trot. I registered today after reading your blog and our posting to each other. emoticon

    My goal is always 8000 steps, but I don't always make it. emoticon

That's great that you got your 8000 today! (I find there's a 36 hour lag in my weight going up or down based on higher or lower calories/exercise than usual. I guess that wouldn't help when you weigh once a week, but take heart, maybe something you did a day or two ago was less than spectacular, but in a couple of days you will see the benefit of today's effort.)

    Love my pedometer! I know if I have a lot of steps one day, the next day needs to include more rest. I am at 9319 now...so tomorrow...maybe 5,000. Hugs, Laurel

10,000 steps per day will take some getting used to! I know what you mean. Today I got over 7,000 steps and I am sore too. emoticon BUT we are doing it one step at the time. emoticon Give my love to Toaby and a hug for you. emoticon
