Notes to Self: W4, D1 (& beepless Timex Ironman)

Monday, November 11, 2013

Finished 2.2 miles
walking with random long running intervals

Finish time: 35:41
pace: 16:23

It took three tries to get a replacement battery for my Timex Ironman. The mall kiosk charged $15. And although all the functions work, my Timex Ironman lost its beep. The jewelry guy made multiple attempts and I tried again after letting it charge. I googled possible fixes. I called Timex. Yes, the back cover is on correctly. Yes, I removed the battery protective sticker so all wires can make contact. Still beepless. Silent. I need the beeps because I like a coach that tells me what to do and when.

So, um, buy a new one? Or perhaps the replacement battery was of a differing brand and thus an infinitesimally small but still importantly different voltage.

Keep up the good work - how about running/walking by feel for a while?

    Your pace is really improving!
