10. What are the ways in which you are "slippery" and might cheat yourself in your efforts to reach your short- or medium-term goal or challenge?
When I set a weight loss goal, and begin losing the weight, I hit a place where I start regaining. I think it is because I have never really settled on a number I want to get to. So I have settled that issue. Now to work on not regaining. I am hoping awareness that I am doing this and a lot of self talk will change things. Part of the problem is that because of health issues, physically I am so inactive compared to normal. It has been hard for me to face where I am and the challenges that have resulted, but I am ready now. So at least a solid 10 minutes a day walk is my starting point.
11. How often do you participate in physical activity and for how long each time? Are you satisfied with that? My new goal is a solid 10 minute walk a day. I am not satisfied with that, but due to health issues, it is where I currently am at. On better days, I am able to do more, and I am going to really be aware of taking advantage of those days. Hoping today I will be able to help my dh with yard work.
