What is YOUR new more positive outlook on being overweight? What is your new definition of what being overweight means to you? How does this new definition FEEL to you? How are you going to reinforce these new beliefs to make sure you override the old ones and start to TRULY believe them? What would it look like if you did? How would you feel? How would your life be different ? How would that shift your ability to lose weight?

Being overweight is what I'm used to. I've been overweight or obese for 33 years. As I said in my last blog entry maybe I don't hate it enough. Maybe I don't feel bad enough about it. My main motivation to lose weight would be to feel better and be healthier. I would feel more hopeful about the future because right now it looks bleak....I'm afraid I will lose my mobility if i don't lose weight. I would be able to do some of the things I've given up because physically they're so uncomfortable now. I'd be able to do more activities with my husband and daughter. I don't care so much about being thin for appearances. Maybe I would after I lost a lot of weight but right now it isn't a motivation for me.
Didn't answer Prompt 5 very well but I guess this and 4 didn't seem to apply to me as much as they might apply to others.
